Fully renovated during the year 2018 to a design by Architect Damiano Ravasi and Engineer Elisa Torri, Elga’s Apartment is completely equipped with every comfort to ensure an unforgettable holiday for those who stay there. Among the works carried out, all oriented to environmental sustainability, we paid particular attention to thermal isulation trough the inclusion of a sophisticated continuous mechanic control system for maintaining air quality and internal temperature. All the windows are soundproof to ensure good night’s sleep to all our guests. The furnishings, with attention to every small detail, blend elements of artistic classicism and functional modernity that you will surely appreciate during your next stay.

The apartment is composed of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large ad bright living room with open kitchen and a small balcony. The whole flat is equipped with air conditioning in every room that you can manage separetely to ensure you the best comfort. Located in the small village of Pettenasco (NO) the apartment is close to many essential services such as restaurants, grocery stores with typical products, market, hairdresser and pharmacy. The strategic position is one of best skills of Elga’s Apartment: it permits to you to not waste time after your busy vacation days.

My name’s Alessandro and since 2019 I’m the manager of Elga’s Apartment, a flat intended to those who want to enjoy a relaxing period on the shores of Lake Orta and located in the small village of Pettenasco, well served and based on the border between the provinces of Novara and Verbano Cusio-Ossola. I was born and lived untile the age of 19 in a tiny village nearby before to move to Lombardy where I live and work yet.

When I accepted the challenge of creating from scratch what is now Elga’s Apartment, I wanted to get closer to the lake where I swam with friends on hot summer afternoons in the months following the end of the school. Many things are changed since then, but not the charm of the lake which over the years has been well and responsible developed thanks to the work and passion of many. Finally, thanks to them, our Lake is slowly gaining the fame and the attention it deserves.

I am a traveler who has slept under the skies of all continents, from Asia to the Americas, and I have developed a sense of gratutide to all the people who have hosted me in all the countries of the world. This is why I believe that to make you feeling at home is the best way to give them the right thanks.

Nous avons été très bien accueillie par Danila qui se donne de la peine pour nous. L'appartement est magnifique. Il correspond à l'annonce. Il a été très bien restauré. Le garage est étroit (ancien bâtiment) Nous nous sommes garés devant l appartement. Nous gardons un bon souvenir de notre passage dans ce bel appartement et le recommandons à nos amis. Cordialement . Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich von Danila empfangen. Sie spricht sehr gut Englisch und hat auch sonst den Check-In absolut perfekt gemacht. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat wirklich alles, was man so braucht. Man sieht, mit wie viel Liebe es eingerichtet wurde. Es ist super zentral gelegen, zum Supermarkt läuft man 5 Minuten. Die Straße vor dem Haus macht es etwas lauter, allerdings ist das Nachts mit geschlossenem Fenster kein Problem. Die Garage war für unser Auto leider etwas zu schmal, aber Danila hat uns sofort einen anderen kostenlosen Parkplatz vor dem Haus gezeigt.

The flat in Pettenasco is perfect for a group of four. Alessandro and his local host are very friendly and helpful: from check-in to restaurant reservations - they are there if you need them! You can park your car behind the house and reach the local beach, supermarket, bakery, pizza place and osteria easily by foot. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody and hope to come back some day.

Beautifully renovated the host make the great effort of going the extra mile. From the personal greetings at check in/out, the well documented manuals to the little treats left inside - this apartment is highly recommended. Wow! What a luxury apartment! The location is great, just a short walk to the lake and ferry. The hosts have thought of everything, above and beyond. Chocolates. Sparkling water. Slippers. Restaurant recommendations. We have never stayed in a nicer place. Highly recommend.

Das Apartment ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet. Die ganzen kleinen Details wie die abgehängte Decke, die Beleuchtung, die Möbel, sowie der moderne aber doch klassisch mediterrane Stil machen das Apartment zu einem kleinen Schmuckstück. Das Bett ist bequem, der Wasserdruck in der Dusche enorm (außergewöhnlich für Italien). Alles war perfekt sauber, die Küche vollständig ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Besteck, Kochutensilien, Kühlgefrierkombination, Backofen und Induktionsherd. Alessandro ist der perfekte Gastgeber. Alle Informationen sind perfekt zusammengefasst und übersichtlich. Dazu kommen die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie Gebäck, persönliche Nachricht, etc. Danila hat uns sehr nett ein- und ausgecheckt in flüssigem, sehr guten Englisch. Einzige Wehmutstropfen waren die Garage, die etwas klein war für unser Auto, und die Lage an der Hauptstraße, d.h. trotz nagelneuer, sehr gut gedämmter Fenster immer ein klein wenig Straßenlärm. Da das aber sehr individuelle Kleinigkeiten waren, die unseren Aufenthalt nicht weiter negativ beeinflussten, kann ich nur sagen: Dieses Schmuckstück von Apartment ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

We enjoyed a wonderful week staying in Alessandro's well-appointed apartment. The place is very tastefully and stylishly decorated (exactly as pictured), just a few minutes walk from the lakeside and with several highly recommended restaurants within walking distance. Communication with Alessandro & co-host Danila was super and we especially appreciated the personal touches. With a fresh fruit & veg shop on one side and the most fabulous cheese and wine emporium on the other, we were perfectly set up for watching the sun set behind the mountains from the sunny balcony.

Alessandro ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Er ist sehr großzügig und kann mit tollen Tipps weiterhelfen. Auch Daniela, die mit uns den Check-in organisiert hatte, ist wundervoll. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft schön. Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Alles ist perfekt arrangiert. Die Wohnung ist sehr, sehr sauber (mehr geht nicht), neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zum Wohlfühlen! Gerne kommen wir wieder. Lieber Alessandro, vielen Dank. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Sogar Lebensmittel wie Öl, Essig, Salz/Pfeffer und Kaffee waren schon dort. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, super hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Mehr Gastfreundschaft geht nicht :). Die Lage des Appartements hat uns gut gefallen, man war zu Fuß schnell am See und mit dem Auto schnell in anderen Orten. Wir hatten eine perfekte Woche dort.

sauber, gut eingerichtet ☺Die Wohnung entspricht den Fotos. Die Wohnung wurde vor wenigen Jahren total saniert. Die Fenster isolieren gut. Sauberkeit ☹Das alte, etwas runtergekommene Mehrfamilienhaus liegt direkt an der Hauptstrasse. Bei offenem Fenster schlafen ist kaum möglich. Der Raumduft, Reinigungsmittel war sehr stark.

Alles in allem sehr schön. ☺In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr nette Betreuung und Willkommensgeschenke. Was außerdem fantastisch war, da wir Fahrräder und Motorrad dabei hatten, konnten wir diese sogar in einer Garage unterstellen. Unseren Transporter durften wir auch an einer sicheren Stelle abstellen. ☹Ein bisschen mehr Besteck, für 4 Personen musste man öfters das Besteck abwaschen. Das war jetzt nicht tragisch, aber schon etwas unpraktisch…

☺Sehr herzlicher Empfang mit herzlichem Brief, Kuchen, Schokolade, Wasser und Saft. Parken in Garage Alles sehr sauber, Wäsche frisch Kaffee rispresso Maschine lecker! Tolle Restaurants am See und in den Ortschaften. Super gelegen für Unternehmungen in den Bergen und am See. Kurzer Fußweg zum See für einen erfrischenden Sprung ins Wasser. Vorbildliche Mülltrennung 3-fache Verglasung!

Sehr schöne Wohnung. ☺Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und über die Wohnung informiert. Auch Infos für Restaurants und touristische Ziele standen uns zur Verfügung. Das Covid Concept wurde vorbildhaft ausgeführt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

BOOK IT!! Fantastic location & modern apartment ☺ ALESSANDRO and DANILA made everything smooth and hassle free from communicatiins before arrival to checkin and throughout our stay. The apartment has everything you could possibly need including coffee/tea, basics like oil, salt/pepper and wonderful bathroom products. We were very grateful for the wealth of tourist information including maps and eating options in the area. We would like to say THANKYOU to Alessandro for the home made birthday cake we found on arrival and the extra mile he went to organise a birthday surprise for our group. The location is perfect - close enough to SG.D'Orta to explore the old city but it was a nice quiet area in Pettenasco, we loved to local swimming spot just mins from the apartment.

☺L’emplacement près du lac d’Orta, l’équipement et la décoration de l’appartement parfaitement rénové où rien ne manquait. La propreté des lieux, le parking privé et clos et la gentillesse de Danila qui nous a accueillis en l’absence du propriétaire ! ☹Le seul point un peu négatif est le Corso Roma très passant, surtout la semaine...
